Having lived in London, England, I have a great appreciation of history and architecture. I grew up in a medeavel town called Barnet, it was the focal point of
a battle in 1471, 'The Wars of the Roses'. A few miles down the road was an old Roman arena dating back to about 54B.C. when Julius Caesar invaded England.
I love exploring downtown Charleston, with it's rich history and architecture, the
cobbled streets, and coming across unexpected little 'gems' down small side roads.
